About

Sana Aziz

Sana Aziz is a Lahore-based Jewellery Designer, Artist and Educator who has led her independent studio practice since 2012, crafting Silver Jewellery in Pakistan.

Her practice reimagines traditional metalworking techniques through modern forms and materials, bridging contemporary design and South Asian heritage. Each piece is crafted with meticulous care, evolving directly at the benches of local artisans through long-term collaboration.

She holds a BDes (Hons) in Jewellery and Metal Design from the University of Dundee, Scotland, and an MA in Art Education from Beaconhouse National University (BNU), where she graduated with Distinction and a Gold Medal. Alongside her creative studio, she brings over a decade of teaching experience to her role as Associate Professor and Head of the Foundation Studies program at BNU’s Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts and Design.

Beyond her metalwork, she illustrates and paints large-scale canvases populated with surreal imagery. A singular visual identity links both disciplines, using the same intricate linework to shape both canvas and form.
